Camping in Gray Creek on Kootenay Lake
My bike did indeed get filthy again, and I did pick up some more rags in Nelson. The old bag o' rags, made from sweatshirt millends. A good investment if the weather is going to keep up like this. I can't stand hearing so much noise from my chain, by the end of the day today I sounded like a mobile pepper mill. While I was spending the hour cleaning things up, a retired couple from the campsite came over to say hello. They were George and Sharon from Kimberly BC. Sharon is a cyclist as well and was just back from a 2 week trip cycling along the Danube! George used to race bikes in Europe when he was a younger man. So we chatted for quite a while, they were very nice. They spend a good portion of the summer living here on the lake, in a trailer right on the water. Nice setup!
