Another Westy
Our Westfalia was too tall to fit in the parking garage here, so they offered us the most prime parking spots they had – right in front of the hotel! As luck would have it, there was another Westfalia in the same situation. We chatted to the owners for a bit, they are from Montreal and are on their way to the Iles de la Madeleine, which is a long ferry ride north from PEI. Talk about a remote place!

What a fantastic trip you are having. Whenever I hear about the hot humid weather back east, I think of you Chris slogging it out on the bike, dripping with perspiration. Your blog is very informative and the pictures are like a pictoral guide across Canada. Did you know that Helen Brown Shackell (your step-Grandma) was born in Bainsville, at the farmhouse her grandparents owned?
From the pictures, I can see that you have leaned out and muscled up over the course of your journey--Lance Armstrong look out!
